Actually the Maroon car has the correct hubcaps for a 190, only the door bottom trim is missing.

If you mean the headlight pattern yes it is identical to a vw beetle headlight glass ( hella one) the size however is different very marginally. The vw glass Is marginally larger. How do I know ? Well once a pair of glasses were picked up from Chor Bazar that did not fit but were identical. Unfortunately because of an oversight I returned them:-( but headlight glasses for the ponton were made as replacement in india by sparco, I have a pair of those too!

Just bought this 280se form goa and karanataka border. sent it over to
bangalore, as the rains are excepted in full form.

Saw this beauty being driven quite spiritedly - in the Mumbai rush hour near the JJ flyover, a couple of days back. Was left staring and drooling as she passed me !!

That is Abbas Bhai's car. Normally stands at the petrol pump next to Jazz by the bay.

Must be Abbas Jasdanwala and its a petrol 300d Auto "Adenaur" Merc most likely a W189

Thanks guys !! Besides being Automatic, I loved the body style. Even with this battleship-rivalling length, she is Pillarless !! Will be a sight to see with all the windows rolled down !

She is an ex-president of India car, if i am not mistaken. truly a lovely and rare car. What an opportunity to see her moving so regally on the streets of Mumbai.
