looks nice and I can understand the lack of hubcaps. they are very rare and even ratty dinged examples can be expensive. I have been chasing a set of shock absorbers for a 170V for some months now and it's proving impossible to find any ,anywhere in the world.

Yes they are! Also came on early pontons upto 1957. Even my 1956 180D has similar hubcaps. Luckily they came with the car and then ran into some in mumbai's illustrious chor bazaar. Can you post images and part numbers of the shockups will see if i have something lying around. Cheers

We were ghaving problems with the early wheels and had to buy a set of 170Va wheels which had a different style of cap holder. We fitted the later wheels with the pre war ring type hub cap mount.These two pictures depict the type of 170 i am working on. Although a lot of the parts look similar, they are very diffeent to the post WW2 cars. Note the hub cap style. Luckily we have a panel guy who can repair these .

Yes, it is a kerala registered car ,but came to Kerala only in mid sixties
the car was available for Rs.90000/- in 2004 with the original petrol engine separate.It has been ''restored'' by a novice henceforth and is still in diesel engine.

Sometime back I saw this beautifully finished W 115 in a workshop. The luster of the paint is excellent. Mirror finish. Many new original spares were fitted. Pictures taken at odd angles as I did not meet the owner to ask to put up. Its a Mumbai car.
