Bulldogji's 190SL it is, in front of the red brick building at Horniman circle.

This was the Morris. The current owner almost lost the car to Chor Bazar, managed to retrieve it but not yet restored.

These cars belonged to Mr Kumar of doddigunta ,cox town .He owned a garage and the cars for a long time and one of them belonged to the late karivardhan .he passed away a couple of years back and the cars came up for sale as one lot (9 cars ,6 mercs and 3 VW jetts and golfs) for under 8 lacs as they had to vacate the parking.No -one picked up even at that price and ended up with "Benz Muneer" the guy in the bangalore Gujri who has stored them in the mysore road petrol bunk which belongs to his friend .most cars are in decent condition and he claims he wants to restore most of them .he also has two more old cars there,one locked up inside the shed .

hi guys! rise and shine ! many classic and vintage mercedes cars are to be on display again on this Sunday morning at 9.30 am at Jayamahal Palace Hotel compound ( its near Cantonment railway station) at Bangalore ! so be there!

simple directions :

mekhri circle -> TV Tower -> keep right lane of a fork at signal outside Fun World -> cross the petrol pump -> mosque -> ministers' & Judges' bungalows -> DO NOT ENTER UNDERBRIDGE-> instead take the left curved service lane -> slow down -> its the first compound to your left . There is also a signboard of Kanishka HP LPG Gas Agency in the same premises .

Saw this early morning and made a dash to see this. As I had a lunch engagement, I could not stay and meet Nandish (nandishpal). Nandish spoke about the initiaitve on setting up the Mercedes Benz India Owners club .




In summary

1: Forum set up to help budding and existing Merc owners
2: Aim to help each other out by sharing information and reduce cost of ownership
3: Sundaram Motors will give discounted pricing. Mercedes Benz India have also pledged support
4: To avoid politics - there is no president/ secretary etc for the club.

This is a good initiative and I wish them a lot of luck

Pavan, when did the lovely 200 that you worked on get that dent on the trunk lid? Or was it there from much earlier?

The maroon Ponton is nice, the missing aluminum garnish trims on the front and rear windscreens seals would make the car appear much better.

Hi rollingart, You have posted many pictures taken in private property. Hope the owners are ok with it? The mercedes posted here DLH registered, is a 230 pulman 1937/38 in Jaipur. Last year it was offered for sale . Any idea of its current status?
