Does a E320 Cabriolet qualify to be termed a modern classic? I know very few[possibly 1500 odd in rhd] were made, and they were the last of the 'coach built' or hand built.
Should I keep her and maintain her or should I bid Farewell?

Absolutely Gorgeous!!! I can't believe I am seeing a 50+ year old car in such awesome condition. Even today what a road presence she has. Kudos to the owner for restoring this beauty.

It's not a 180, it's a 190/200. And it's missing the front fog lamp/indicator combo under the headlamps. The double bumpers are also an addition, they were standard on the 'S' model Heckflosse's. Great to see that it's running but the body panels shows a lot of ripples and irregularities and that too in white paint, which is the colour that shows these flaws least.

I agree. This car appears to be good from far, but far from..... The body is indeed wavy, but what concerns me more is that the rear mudguard appears to slope slightly downwards, many such cars upto the 115 were spoilt by this kind of tinwork. But there must be some enthusiasm and pride, the owner could use her and keep on improving her.
