This post is meant to be a warning of what can happen if you get your car restored by an unauthorised workshop or in a roadside garage.

Also, if you buy such cars from copycats who do not copy properly, like chinese mix breed cars.

Or, such pictures are the result of using cheap cameras.

I am aware that there is a separate joke thread, but this somehow seems to fit here very well. This has been circulating as a forward, taken by someone from www.StrangeVehicles.com

With due respect to ponton fans, I find more intriguing the number- 'wonder what HYE stands for! The old (pre AP) Hyd. regns. did have HY series but only HYX, HYY etc.

As far as my knowledge goes the owner of this SL and the NSX ( Forgot his Name, he is a member of the forum) is different from the Owner of the Ford GT40 replica (S.T.). The owner of the GT40 REplica owned the Blue Gallardo you would see at the Auto Expo displayed at the Autocar stall and is now sold to S.S. The SL owner knows the Gt40 owner and had taken pictures at S.T.'s house.
