Absolutely! Will get a couple of sets very soon (one of them could be the 16 hole one you mentioned).

Came across this lovely photo of the 500K Mercedes with a previous owner. I am told the car was obtained from Burdwan back in the day. Subject to correction.

This car is the 500K Ex Chudasama and the picture is taken at his building only . Carmichael House . The building behind is Rashmi

There is speculation that it may have once belonged to the infamous Heinrich Himmler.

I recently visited a very special collection of Mercedes-Benz scale models cars in Mysore, called Autofest City.The collection is of 2 brothers, Clyde and Neil D'Costa. The central display in one of the buildings was fabulous with functioning replicas of the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen and the 1896 Ford Quadricycle. Gracing these two beauties was a W124 Mercedes-Benz E250 D which the brothers purchased chiefly as a centre-piece for Autofest City. The car was fully refurbished post-purchase and now occupies a place of pride with the two working replicas !

Nice car! Although, twas said to have been registered on 1st Jan '62 in Pune, but the MTP number dates from the '70s! '62 Pune numbers (the first after MH state was formed) were all MHP series AFAIK.

Only if your friend had known that this GEM is parked outside the most awesome place in the whole of Mumbai & shares garage with some breathtaking gorgeous GEMS.
Many lesser mortals like me just drive past that circle to ogle at them.

Sir, your humbleness & generosity is going to cost you more than one cup of Coffee. My little one is being prepped for RESTO 2.0 as she had developed some cosmetics issues. I hope to drive her up to the iconic red building and of course will step in say Hi.
