I bumped into this beauty the other day at a Delhi hotel. Beautiful car. I am told she is a 1947 model Mark VI and an import.

One of two almost identical Bentley 3.5 Litre Gurney Nutting Aerofil Coupes that came to India. This one is B183EJ for Jodhpur.

Any idea who were owners between Jodhpur and the time it was exported? Interesting to see an Automobile Association badge that is typical of Bengal. Perhaps the car had a Calcutta connection?

It seems the car is already sold. Wonder if she is being repatriated

Hawk eyed Karl! This is from a Coys auction many years ago. Moore and the Calcutta connection

Karl, the car pictured is one of the two "non India" Aerofil coupes (likely B45HM). The history is perhaps correct.

Both India cars have the door handle above the waistline moulding. This car also has a quarter glass which the two India cars did not.

Spotted this 1935 Bentley 3.5-litre ex Talcher in Mumbai last Sunday. Apparently this car had participated in 2018 Pebble Beach Concours de elegance.
