Any comments on this ??
The front hub carries a special rig for wheel discs. They consist of steel spokes which hold a large threaded ring in place - that's what is left here - and a ring nut which is screwed on it to press the disc against the wheel rim.
The spare wheel hub shows a non RR device which prevents the wheel to wobble in its well, the RR part has a chromed handle.
The rear wheel shows a perfectly standard RR hub.

The 1937 Phantom III with a cut steering wheel is 3CM37, now in the care of Johan Poonawalla. The steering wheel was not the only cut-off part, the roof was also sawn off to convert the saloon body into a tourer.

One of his RR was Silver Wraith #WVA76, a Hooper limousine, but I don't know the other one.

And here is a photo of the car, rear view.

Was watching the movie Gandhi and spotted a silver/bluish 4 door tourer Rolls. Seemed larger than a 20/25 hp car. Regn. appeared to be BMW 2729. Familiar?

No idea what had happened to that car and where she came from.
During the shooting of that movie, she was lying at Breach Candy Shyam Nivas with Mr. B ? Kripalani, a car wheeler and dealer who came back from Kuwait if I remember correctly. I had actually met him while I was in college! It will be very interesting to hear where this car landed up, because as far as we are concerned, she just disappeared from the face of India Suspicious, merits some follow up.

Some experts seem to think this may be Chassis # GMK-5 ; Barker Tourer, now altered (1st owner B.J.Desai).

There is also a side profile in Post #906 of this thread. Cheers

Yes it did as i mentioned the previous owner was a short parsi Gentleman
who ordered the car with a half steering and i guess it was changed then if it was delivered witha full steering. He was short and could not look properly as the steering could be in his view.Well i think then we need to find out what exactly happened.
