you could see if you can get a very dark grey, almost black like but not black. Its what the Americans had on their army jeeps, Like this bike colour. Try this colour on a jeep. Ive seen a few and they look Faaaab!!

Some options

Black canvas, always, with these choices:

1) Dark blue, yellow, green cammoflage. Black every where else.
2) Dark red, black canvas, black fender skirts
3) orange, black bull, black fender skirts and trim.

"121. Painting of Motor Vehicles: No motor vehicle including Construction Vehicle shall be painted in Olive Green colour except those belonging to the Defense department."

Thanks hrag, thats exactly what the RTO Inspector said, dont paint it in Olive Green it against the Law. And he said keep away from shades close to it as they might refuse dark green shades saying its Olive or Military green.

Have you completed the project ? Curiously waiting to see your final paint work and the long awaited finish !! Apart from the body work, have you done anything to the engine or related areas ?

Hi buddy, thats a long list of things, I wonder if there is anything left as stock !! Engine, axles, steering, lights, battery, tires, rims, brakes and what not ? I am getting more curious to see the final product. For the jeep enthusiasts, please give some clue on the damage (your wallet) part too !

I was planning to get a fiat (pre-1980 model) restored, later my interest changed to beetle restoration, now its getting diverted to allmighty Jeep !! Well restored jeep is a pleasure to own, no doubt. I fantasize myself moving around in an open jeep on weekends, may be it can really happen before the year end !

Looking tough or a 'macho boy' image on road is the trend. Tougher road presence and confident body language can create lot of difference among the mad morons on road, I am sure !

Found these in my photo collections, I dont remember the source. Either colour, style, accessories, design or something will help you in your project. Good luck !
