The Fantabulus advertisement is from 1968. A kick cum self starter option was introduced then. The original scooters had self starters only which conked off and posed problems.These came in two tone colours. The later ones after 1968 with the new kick-starter options, had a single colour.

The Enfield Crusader advertisement from 1971.This bike sported the same Fantabulus and Enfield Sherpa engine (173cc Villiers make).

Thanks much for the Fantabulus ad, its the first time Im seeing one. Incidentally I too have a fantabulus, in total scrap condition.
