Some Ambassador Mark II ads

Lovely advertisements rajeev.Reader's Digest used to publish these in almost every issue.It used to be Bedford/ Hindustan trucks or Ambassadors advertisements.

I recently got a hold of this brochure from the 1980s. We get rare insight into numbers produced by Premier Auto.

By the way would you hazard a guess as to why in 1980 the sales dropped to 8729? I am not able to figure out. Possible reason could be strike in their plants.

Only just come across this Kelvinator advert that you posted - very pleased as an owner of one of these scooters to see this - there seems to be so little information about this make and model of scooter.

These were the first Padminis produced after the President. I suppose they were available around 74-76.

Nice Padmini. It has President wheel caps unlike the Green Padmini as shown in the Ad.

Tata could learn a thing or two from the old Beetle ads. Something to silence the critics who say the Nano looks weird. Of course, they can't exactly mimic VW unless they can provide VW quality!
