Its really nice to know that someone is there from TCE here. I have seen this bus many a times running between thirunagar(Madurai) and TCE campus. That time i never tried to take a pic. This time i searched for this and got it because i havent seen this bus for quiet a few months. So i want to get this before scrapping.

IMHO, no value and can be a museum piece at best

I am told by the Morris Register that a company; Utilevan, specially built 100 vans with twin & single side windows.But today,hardly a few single side window vans are surviving

saw these two cars in Jodhpur. One looks like its not moved for a while while the other is in use as a water tanker.

The blue one seems like a Russian Metal, have seen some of these in Indian Army some years ago. If I am not wrong, it had a dual wheel setup for the rear, ie was a 6x6 types.

I think its a Dodge Power Wagon. I remember seeing some of these in the late 1960s in the South Indian Staes - were bore-well (water) drill rigs. I think these were from US goverment supplied as part then aid programmes called the "Marshall Plan" and "Colombo Plan" for maximising our food production (start of our Green Revolution) and infrastructure building.

These vehicles had double axle set up in the rear

I am attaching the picture of a restored Dodge Power wagon for comparison, though a single axle at the rear.

Spotted this 1tonner yesterday when went to visit a temple on mountain top. It was being used in road construction work there. I clicked the shot when it was parked inside the temple boundary after finishing that days work. It was looking so cute that I couldn't hold to click the shots. Is it a 4X4?

I remember one of my relatives who used to have this kind of truck for some transportation business and we kids used to enjoy journeying that truck in the rear load career when we used to go our relative's town in summer vacations.

This seems to be in a working condition. This is spotted at MSRTC Bus body building unit, Pune.
Note the Mercedes star in the rear axle hub.
