Nope.

There are actually two ways to define vintage. One is by stating that any car built before the second world war is vintage, and the other is by stating that any car which is more than 60 or 70 years old is vintage.

The Herald seen in the pics is defenitely not vintage.

Welcome stampro!
Glad to find another devoted standard car enthusiast!
As iraghava mentioned, you can find any discussions/pics. of Standards going on in those threads.
By the way, I think I've seen the pics. of the companion in your avtaar-they were sent to me by a friend in Bangalore when the car was for sale a few years ago....did you purchase it eventually? It was an immaculate one-owner car though.

And yeah, are there still any Standards seen around in Madurai? I know of a few cars in Madras.

Wow, lovely pennant stampro! I guess this was the rare single colour the car was available in, they were otherwise sold in dual colours.
Nice to see standards surviving in places other than the major ciites down south!
Do you know the owner well, if so you can invite them to this forum as well.
And you should get to know another member here- karl (ID- karlosdeville) from pune who's also got a nice green & white 1-owner pennant owned by his relatives from new.

Well I would say its not a bad chop-top conversion.....but those plastic hubcaps....*puke*
And there is something that looks like an anti-roll bar over the front seat...?
