Hey Speedy/Stanher

When u pick a car from a scrappy or scrap dealer how do you get the paperwork done as most of the cars i find in the scrappy have no papers??

its nice to hear that the car is being worked on. how much work is there on the car? from the pictures it looked more cosmetical then micanical, but that is only seeing pictures you know better. in four days the car would be ready to hit the roads.

I had seen the car in Bombay a couple of months back. The windscreen looks more like 118NE rather than Fiat. Not worth a second look in my opinion, unless it comes for a song, which it wont.

my friend has this pair of NOS GERMAN HELLA LENS (GLASS)(new from original box).
since he sold his car he doesnt need them
anyone interested,please pm me
NB: this is genuine item,so please study the prevailing prices thro google search before asking

All new carbs for sale

Pictures are attached----usa carb comprises of
from left: Willys, Ford V8 & Chevrolet GM.

Petrol Willys Jeep Carter - Price: Rs. 6000/-
Ford V8 - Price Rs. 10000/-
GM Chevy - Price Rs. 8000/-

The other 2 pictures are of Jaguar SU carbs. of 3.5 ltrs.-- Price: Rs.30000/- for the set.

They all are brand new carbs..

This looks like for a LHD. So the beam would be a little off for RHD. Neway whats the price?

I am interested in the GM Chevy [Rochester]if its suitable for the '60, '61. 6 inline engines. And is it complete because i dont see the vacuum outlet and the auto choke outlet?

sorry,both of you are mistaken.
These are round glass lenses for post 68 models upto 1973 especially European beetles.
pre67 were oval fluted lenses with clear lenses coming in american models.
please see the 3 versions of headlight lenses.

This 1940 Austin 8 is for sale. All meters are original,engine is original,and as seen most of the other parts. The carburettor is not the original SU but a Solex. The electricals are 12V.More pictures can be seen on the thread Austin 8 in the pre-1950 section.The car has upto date RTO papers of Maharashtra.

Ajay99 and subodhnath buddies, this is a thread which lets us know if any classic car is available, not to be mistaken for a classified/marketplace please.

Ajay, I say this because you have posted at least three items which are actually parts.

actually I dont have any parts for sale as such.only that I roam around these dusty spares shops and when i come across items like lenses,etc I post them to let other interested BHPians know of their availabilty, that is all.
