Whoops!! Mistake became. I must improve my typing skills.. Yes of course its a R-129 not the R-109 as there was no R-109. There was a W-109 being the W108 with a bigger engine for eg the 300sel

thanks for correcting me V12

No this is not Scooby's car though i wish it were, as then id get an imaculate car readymade. didnt know it was for sale or id have lapped it up.

Yes Scooby uncle i know of your car being up for sale. First from the guys at Mercedes and then i saw it with P. I have no doubts of the condition of the car as i know how you keep them. The asking was high but will talk to P again.

Spotted these 2 cars for sale. Was informed by a fellow Tbhpian that the expected price for the Landmaster was 1.50 Lakhs. The car doesnt have a dashboard and has a diesel engine. Didnt wana know what price was quoted for the Austin after hearing the price expected for the Landmaster .

That landy has all the rights to be a good parts car!

Sadly, diesel landys sell here at roughly the same rate, but in much better shape though.

@Ed: Neither the landy nor the Austin look worth the price being quoted (or expected)
The Diesel engine of the landy notwithstanding, both of them appear to have suffered quite an extent of corrosion! Judging by that, I can guess the mechanical condition ofthe latter isn't really great.

The Landy looks too high priced. Its front parking lights are "innovative".More so are the Austin A 40's front parking lights that are a lift off from the Jeep CJ4A/500D.The Austin's tail lights look like the Padmini's front parking lights.

Thankfully no bigblock, as Iraghava has pointed out, its not that car. That one is a mess you are right. I know of it and its offered for a ridiculously low price now. Not so attractive when you realise what some of the parts cost. This was not such a mess thanksfully, nevertheless when you restore it to be your daily drive, theres a lot more you have to do. Thankfully she was in good hands.

Hi guys,

There is one Morris which is standing in lonawala highway. One mechanic is owning this car. Mr. Wasim 9923886786. he was quoting 1.5 lack for the car. Car was not in a very good condition but he said it is running and no mechanical work in the engin. Body was rusty and bad. I did not see the paper's but he said he has RC book and every thing with him.

He said he has some bike's also but he was busy when I want there and he told me to come after some day, "Call me and come"???

I think he quoted too high, on morris.

(Will post the photo's soon of morris.)

You can find the Toyota 3-litre straight six with the AT tranny in Delhi. I think the engine code is 2JZ.
