Here's a gem of a classified, Not really a classic by any standards but proves my theory that because classifieds are free today on most internet portals one can put any price on a car. Incidentally The advertiser is a reputed automotive journalist.

The car is a very well maintained one but as you rightly pointed out,not a ''classic'' by any parameter. Very unfortunate to see that a person of his standing has put such a price and a ''classic tag to it!!!

And apart from the Premier wheels, it looks fairly original too.

The seller claims he drives it everyday

The car is genuine but the price quoted is incorrect. The owner is a well known Bhpian and I spoke to him.

The genuine advt is http://chennai.olx.in/vintage-1947-c...-iid-655509332 post on 4th June. No price is mentioned

I understand the same was wrongly posted again by someone else today with a price

Seeing the photo of the garage/workshop it looks the car belongs to a well known professional restorer in chennai.
As Mr.KPS has rightly mentioned the ad is defnitely wrong, because the restorer will be the last person to ask such a rockbottom price

Thanks to KPS, the culprit was traced and with great difficulty contacted the lousy OLX, who deleted the fraudulent ad. Thanks Ajay a tbhpian who informed me and thanks KPS
