calling the quoted price ''bit too high'' is an understatement.A similar LHD Ponton is available for sale in South India at less than 1/4 of the asking price of this car and still no takers.Hope you can estimate the price range of this model from that

Hi Ajay the car looks immaculate. Could the price be a typing error? It could be 6,10,000/- no harm in calling and finding out. At that price for me it's a buy without thinking. :-) not that I need another one. btw is this the Bangalore car that was recently sold? That was sold for around 7 lakhs

There is no contact number in the ad.I doubt whether it is a typing error. This is not the Bangalore car.there is an LHD ponton in Bangalore which is still available but asking around 14 lakhs or so

This car was advertised in olx website some days back and the price asked was 30Lakhs. Now the price has come down by nearly half. But would like to know from the veteran enthusiasts what would be a fair value of this car in the present unrestored state .Remember having read somewhere else in this forum that this car was sold for something like forty thousand bucks a decade ago.

Hi Ajay

MY xxxx X was the Mysore State number before the Motor Vehicle Act, 1939. Since this car is a 1950 model, this would been registered under the M V Act, 1939. I would guess the number of the car to be MYX xxxx, which is a Mangalore number.
