If you do read the ad carefully it reads " water cooled engine " so it's a sorry Beetle , many modifications must have been made

Once the original engine has been changed, it is worthless, be it OM 616 or 316.

Most likely an OM616. An OM316 did not exist. An OM321 and 312 did exist.

That's an interesting body - the top appears to be only fabric, and doors with pillars with suicide at the rear. Is this the original configuration? It does look pleasing nonetheless.

It is worthless because no serious collector would touch it & therefore not much of resale value. Ponton engines inside a Ponton has value, but, not inside any other car
