I have the same requirement! 911varun , I have been looking around for a R129 for long now, and chanced upon a White colour V8. Did not pursue this vehicle as there was some JHOL in the paper and the owner was not willing to share more information on it.

Do inform me if you come across some good examples!

A 1995 SL320 R129 I once owned just got resold to a buyer from Rajasthan for 22L !!
Offcourse in Top class condition. Even not so good ones are demanding 15L and I am surprised.

The ad is a hoax. The pix clearly show that the car is not in india.

I too noticed it long back the text reads: "Perfect for pulling the ladies,an ideal accessory for all the playboys in India"

OT: Also check the seller details. It equally funny

I had contacted a similar ad. The seller wanted part of the money as advance...wired to some foreign bank and some story that he was working in India and is now transferred etc...Members beware!!

Thanks Car Love. I too noticed the listing and I was literally jumping with Joy. But I am not too convinced on the pricing and if my source in Bangalore is correct a TN registered R129 (Red color) was for sale with Sundaram as well, which was being quoted at 28 Lacs then.

Lets see what my negotiations with the seller come up with, as there are two more members in the forum who would be interested in the car! It will be a hard bargain.

Think that the red car shown in classifieds is from Coimbatore or Erode,because a broker was once mentioning abt it as for sale for 18lacs
