They must be ''thinking '' that someone will be foolish enough to buy at their quoted price.After all there are many here who believe that the owner is correct in quoting any high price for his vehicle and that others should not criticize it.

Again this is an Old ad. the asking price is ridiculous. Similar ones are available here in Bangalore for 80k to 1L or less. This town is about 50km from Bangalore by the way.

Calrock Spent lot of money for its restoration.Still he hasnt got a goo buyer. The other guys seems to belong to the group of people who has been made to believe that if you have a car older than 50 years,then you have a fortune in hand

I am newbie and have come across this post on OLX offering vintage cars for sale:
Chevrolet Tourer - A 1928 Model - Spoke Wheel - Currently Under Overhaul and restoration
Morris 8 - 1934 Model - Spoke Wheel - Also Under Overhaul and restoration.

Vintage Cars for Collection - Hyderabad - Cars

He is quoting 14 lacs on Chevrolet and 8lacs on the Morris.

What is your take take on the price?.

The price being asked of for the Lambretta is silly to say the least. In my opinion this phenomenon is quite recent wherein people quote absurd amounts for their vehicles. Sure many people have been "cheated" by this and many a quick buck has been made. As Ajay says there are many here who dont like criticism of sale prices being quoted. That is fair to the extent that everybody has a right to quote or buy/sell at whatever amount one wishes to, but in my opinion we as members of this community have to help others in true price discovery and lean more towards the buyer making the right choice rather than side with the seller to make a fast buck. Anyway finally its two or more adults who come to a conclusion to buy or sell and its entirely their business.
This particular car is on sale, I have gone and had a look, its been up for sale for a long time now. Unrealistic price for the condition that it is in (In my opinion).
