The thinking is quite obvious here....It is like we are car lovers so we/or someone we know here on T-bhp will be ready to pay some stupid amount of money for a car worth a fraction of what it is really worth. On the other hand the Advertiser thinks the general public is smarter so no price has been mentioned. The poor guy/girl should know that we are the smartest around. If we are not buying it pretty much no one will.... Worth noting that a similar car is on sale for 25L and this garish makeover is quoted for 85L; that is nearly three and a half times..

There are buyers who are not on t-bhp at all, some who are have also been fooled in their lifetime, so generallisation will not work here.
I did not know that Sharookh Khan owned a classic.
Remember, that Pontiac in auction was seen on t-bhp, we knew it was for sale, it got sold in auction to a guy not on t-bhp.

I have also seen some pics of SRK next to an immaculate Ponton long ago. Probably he is also into classics. Anyone has any idea of it?? This thread is not the one for that though..

That was a shoot that he had done for a company. As far as i have seen in his garage there are no classics standing.

The 25 lakh car is now being quoted at 20L and i heard the makeover cars quote has plunged down to 55lakhs

Why not?if a Dodge Kingsway can be quoted for 99lakhs plus and a Buick Super for 85 lakhs definitely an Atlas moped can be quoted by its owner likewise
