The price is too good to be true for one. The other thing is that it is difficult to figure out if that picture is of a car in India

A friend of mine has to offer these two vehicles for sale, apart from this there is a LHD jeep (Petrol) of his uncle for sale, can get more detailed pic and information if anyone intrested.

Some sort of Joke being played around regarding this car, and now i have my own doubts about this car and would rather stay away from it.

Absolutely my thought. I called the guy and he didnt reply, then called me and said he has 250 cars for sale throughout India. He was more interested in what cars i have. I told him im not a dealer nor a collector and this would be my first car, he asked me what i was looking for and said there was "Extensive work on the Datsun both body and engine" Well the pics dont show any Body work as visible so im guessing this is not the car which was for sale, in fact ill go a step further and say that this guy never had such a car for sale in the first place.

Anyways after he took my details (very vague, 60-70, sports coupe) he said "main dhoondke aapko email karunga". What?? he just told me he had 250 cars for sale. I presume this guys a fraud and only trying to find out what a similar car, he may be in the know of, which has extensive work to be done, would fetch.

Some more pics of the jeep? IS it a short chassis or a long chassis jeep?

Late 40s in the sense only until '47, the model from '48 onwards had a facelift mostly in the front:

PS: My dad's first car was like this in the same colour (black), bought from his elder brother in the 70s (because that was all he could afford then!), he learnt driving in it and had it until around 1980-81, sold before I was born.

Guys please help me find someone to restore our 49 BUICK ROADMASTER.Iam from Kerala so someone from Coimbatore,Bangalore or Kochi would do great.If no ones close by Iam ready to go even far..Please help

There are some very good restorers in Bangalore who you can talk to. I am sure someone will be able to provide actual contacts for you.

In the mean time please post some pictures of your Buick so we can see what condition it is in right now

Came across this ad for a VW Microbus here on team-bhp. Thought many would be interested....

I have a small request to make. Should any VW Guru plan to inspect this vehicle, could he please send me a message? I would love accompany him for the inspection. It will surely help me appriciate these beauties better and someday help me own one on my own....
