Wow, that Landmaster is rare example of a correctly priced car if the engine is original side valve. It should have sold immediately!
About the Austin, there are only nasty comments, but apparently no one bothered to find out if any of the missing parts are available. And what about the mechanicals? Is the engine complete? Nothing lost while lying in the open? Interiors like meters? And the documents?
As one can see, the comments on the pricing are superficial, and if someone is interested in such a car, need not be this one, one should have to go deeper. IMHO, if all parts were available and well stored, this car can still be worth around 12L, depending on an individuals desire and capability as such cars are not frequently available. In Jaipur, for example, such condition cars are easily restored to a high degree, just see what they have done to that junk Mercedes from Lonavala.

Hey Harit, I agree with you ! I guess we were all a bit hasty in commenting on the price per se, without going into details, or I may say, without showing genuine interest. Point taken sir

But is it also not the seller's duty to:

1) Give a very clear picture of what's on offer, especially when quoting a price so high. (at least clearer than what the said ad looks like !) - especially of parts separately available, etc - this would generate genuine interest from genuine buyers.

2) Not make basic errors like the year of maunfacturing..

Just my two bits to liven up the debate !

He may have accidentally pressed the zero key extra? Or he's charging for his restoration X 2. thats why its better to Check if the restoration is gonna cost more than the actual market value of a car before restoring it. especially if the intention is to sell it later. if not then there is no limit to the cost of restoration and extent one can go.

I do not think he has pressed the zero key extra unknowingly.Neither is he charging ,double the restoration cost(my personal view).
As you can see the car lacks originality.Looks more like a Hot ROD!!

BTW, from the exterior the car looks nice, he says he has the original rims, what about the interior. Is that original or modded?

I actually quite liked the car very nicely converted into a hot rod look, but with the original engine the look is useless, must have a V8, a cool music system with a ZZtop Cd and some flames on the side. Then we're talking.
