with a great difficulty i was able to take the pictures of the Impala 1972, the owner is not ready to share the price but he is asking me to quote the price

can any one give me the details like what price we can give, and yes indeed the body line is very good but requires some beatings.

Amol, thats a Good one!
Truly speaking this Gold Hawk is very very Rare and very original. Yes you can put a price based on the international prices, but no other studi is anywhere close to this ones condition and originality here in India. Maybe a price of 50lacs would have been more realistic, but its Homi, and he doesnt really need the money.
Whats this of 'classics can be imported' news you mentioned?

Yes,

all the documents are clear, and this guy has 2 cars in which one is in this condition and other is in the same garage parked.

reason the car was in this condition it was given to a tinker for some body work, and that guy was arrested in some case and the garage was locked for 5 years so. it became very difficult for this guy to get the car out, and it came to him just 1 year ago in this condition.

and all the documents are clear apart from Insurance, he has paid the tax and i guess it was expired and FC needs to be done.

note this is an single owner car, and he dont want to sell the other car.

Well, firstly the car obviously needs a lot of work- and if the owner, with due respect to him, expects you to quote a price its an indication (from my experience) that he expects a 'good' price for it!

But more importantly, it doesnt look anywhere close to a '72 Impala- the lines look too straight and squarish, maybe from the mid-late 70s. You can see what the '72 Impala looks like here:

Shyam you're right. It is a 1980 Impala, not a '72.
Though the car doesn't quite have that 70's charm, it can still look very good if done up well. Here's one for reference.

I used to have later model Chevrolet Caprice 1987, used it for 10 yrs. It is very nice car and very comfortable ride. If I am not wrong this model is Chevrolet Caprice, they have models like: Caprice Classic, Brougham, body by Fisher. Lot of Caprice Cars from 80's, 90's still running well in Saudi Arabia and can be seen on roads everyday.

hi i guess the confusion is there, i ave gone through the model, and clearly saw the documents, and yes indeed the car is in the same shape, as i said it was earlier left in a different garage which made the car in this condition.

and yes it has all its original accessories including the wheel covers Dash board, meters, Head lights and tail lamps and original keys, along with the manual.
