Chauhan sir can you share the address of the locality(scrapyard) where these cars are parked. Am interested in some parts from the fiat for a friend. Judging by the locality is doesn't seem to be the Puraniya scrapyard.

Hello Salman & Sagar ,

It is the Purania scrapyard - start on the Sitapur Road at the Hardinge Bridge - go past Khadra , Hasanganj & Purania ; take the left turn towards the Sitapur Road LDA Colony - there is another FIAT ( light green ) which would be a good spare parts car .

But please - in this youthful zest for ownership do not spoil the Lucknow pricing structure , the scrapper will find it difficult to dispose off the cars at these price in Lucknow and outstation buyers for these cars will be rare . The correct price for the cars would be Rs 17,000 with a top limit of 25,000 - ( ie ) if you are only into Standard & FIAT cars and nothing else .

Look around guys , there are plenty of reasonably priced Austin, Morris , Ford etc still parked IN and around Lucknow. Would love it , if the next generation started on the job of retaining the local cars in the city.

Thanks for the confirmation Chauhan sir. Regarding the pricing i do keep in mind every time i visit the scrapyard for some parts. They quote exorbitant prices for any thing. If a bargain is successful then i pick the part otherwise i leave it. BTW i know of one green select(fiat) standing at purania though for sale at Rs.50k.Scrapper is not ready to sell any part of the car. Am attaching the picture of the same. Do confirm if its the same one you are referring to. The car behind the padmini.

I absolutely agree to that Mr Chauhan, i myself have been very particular with regards to the pricing (Especially for Fiat"s ) in Lko. I have seen 2 absolutely pristine examples of 1100d which are for sale for the past 4 months , but the seller is stuck at 30k and i at 22k.

As i have done my schooling in lko and know a few people here , i am for all intents and purposes a "lucknowite" , so these guys do not ask for exorbitant prices from me at least.

"With power windows and all" Without pictures hard to say but looks like this may not be much for Herald purist.

Possibly a 1969 production registered in 1970.
