Even a concourse single owner Variant is not worth a buy at 2 or 2.5 lakhs in my view
This car was brought by a good friend of mine from Chennai.

I would not want to talk about its price, its between the Buyer and the Seller. All i could make out was, that particular variant was almost 99% original barrring

1) Paint scheme
2) Solex carb from a fiat
3) Left running board eaten up for 2 feet.

Rest all is Stock to the core. The car came to me running on 2 cylinders and broken exhaust. 4 - 5 hours is what it took me to fix all the issues and, I had the chance to put this car back on road in its full glory.

It made a night journey from Bangalore to Chennai in 6 hours and boy! was my friend happy. For me the car was in a good shape.

The link is here.

The wheels are indeed original Allan. Its missing hubcaps, which i will help in sourcing sometime soon

Indro, that car that was sold, had each and every component working, including the original courtesy switches. original dashboard switches, blower, meters, and even the original assist straps. The upholstery too is factory done.

Though the color spray is not period, nevertheless, a good example and a wonderful buy.

There cant be more proof of that classic than its drive from Bangalore to Chennai 365 kms that too at Midnight. I only put things back together within hours. That kind of condition oozes confidence of a great purchase.

The above post is for buyers who drop buying certain cars looking at the color of the car. Dont bother about cosmetics, you can easily do the makeup. Firstly Look at the mechanical fitness of any classic/Vintage you buy.

Sir I have seen this car in person in Delhi 3 years back when it was offered for sale. It was very original as good as the pics. I wanted to know what ajay thinks of it. May be i missed out something.

Those are the original rims, and do look somewhat similar in design.

Most Welcome. This is one of the most original cars i have seen. So don't think the rims would be non original.
