That would be K.C. and H.R. College and to be more precise opp Oxford Book Store and not Jai Hind College . The car rarely moves from there, allways see it in the same spot.

That said, I suppose there is a possibility that the badge was added later as an embellishment, perhaps Rony can confirm.
POHANKA never had nor does have any connection with Fiat. Its just now that they could clasify themselves as a Fiat dealer after the Chrysler / Fiat deal.

As usual on the money. It is indeed MHP 121. With all its trims intact and in a colour i like to affectionately call "Murugan Green" a popular colour in all the Murugan guest houses in Matunga. Unfortunately she is going to have to brave the Mumbai monsoon without a cover. She lies just a short walk from my office.

one thing I know , it is not an after market embellishment because the it is a single owner car and its owner( an international figure in his field) is not a guy who will allow such additions.

Aftermarket describes anything on a car which was not actually fitted by the concerned car manifacturer. The POHABKA Badge couldn't have been fitted by Fiat. Now the Fiat badges on the car are certainly original and the POHANKA thing is "aftermarket', it is from a car dealer and service outfit in the US.

Maybe the car was service by them

EDIT - There was also an AP regd car in the same colour in Pune some years back, had many nice accessory fittings and whitewalls. Wonder where it went.

Is this car BMC regd?
O Exhalted one, O parallel RTO, and keeper of all license numbers.. You are spot on as usual.
It is indeed MHP 121 . You never cease to amaze me.

Thats a risk Im willing to take Do tell us more.

MHP 121 was a very nice, original car. It even had the rare bakelight knobs under the dash. I wish it good luck to brave Bombay monsoons after Pune's more accomodating climate all these years. Ravi/Amol, do invite him to the club.

Incidentally MHP 122 was a pretty nice black 57 Fiat that was scrapped in Pune some years back.

There are quite a few 1100R's in kerala. Everyone thinks they are modified padmini's though!! I've posted pix of a few of them on the forum too.

There is one with a friend, with abarth stickers, which is claimed to be running on twin carbs, haven't checked it out myself though.

What's the plan for this sunday ? 5 gardens, or Lonavala ? Maybe Lonavala's better next month as the rains will really be there in full blast then.

Here are older pics of the car, courtesy Moralfibre.

Incidentally MHP 111 is a white select lying neglected in Pune, MHP 122 used to be a nice black 57, now scrapped.
