FCCCI Drive / Rally Sunday, Dec 7, 2008

Yesterday, ie: Tuesday, 25th Nov 08, I had some work at Vikhroli and having finished there by 1130 am, I decided to check out the further route and conditions for the proposed Drive to Bhiwandi. So, I proceeded to Thane where I picked up Adheesh and then co-ordinated with Anil Jain to meet him at the turn for the Bhiwandi Bypass.
We were then taken to the Destination and shown around the whole complex, which was very interesting and just wonderful.

Route details as hereunder: (Just for your knowledge)
Bandra to turning of Bhiwandi Bypass - 47 kms
Bhiwandi Bypass to Bhairav foundation - 2-3 kms
Toll at Mulund TollNaka: Rs 30/-
Toll at Thane TollNaka: Rs 35/- (for Return fare)
Toll will be borne by each individual member/car.

BHAIRAV FOUNDATION is a charitable trust run by Anil's family where almost 150 deaf and dumb girls and boys are lodging and boarding and who are educated.
So, we feel hounoured to be invited and visit this wonderful organisation which is based in Bhiwandi. One has to really see this place to know how meticulously, selflessly and professionally this organisation is managed. The students there will also feel happy to interact with us as this will be an unusual activity for them besides their daily routines.

So, once again, please feel free to get your near and dear ones, families and all your friends in any vehicle, who would like to join and have a nice and FIATFUL Sunday.

The FCCCI family offers its depest condolences to all the people who have lost their lives in the shamefull attack on bombay. We hope things return back to normal as soon as possible and God punishes the people who have done this dasterdly deed.

In keeping with the situation in bombay as of now, we have decided to hereby postpone the event on the 7th of December.

Spot on guys. No way can we make merry when our beloved city is under siege.
Here's pictures of two-tone padminis spotted at various locations. Not exceedingly well kept, but they seem to be cared for, and are daily drives.
