Nice to see Harit uncle and his lovely car, Fang and Immy Sheikh.
The wheels of the red spyder are really nice.

@ Immy the car looks lovely in person, but do tell me do you still have your bikes or you sold them. Last one i remember you having was the black Honda CB400.
Thanks, i had a few after the CB400 super IV, i had a Yamaha FJR 1300 2005 (Full Options) for about a year, sold her a month back, the ride scenes are not so great anymore

as per my research about the Spyders

they were actually called FIAT 1200 CABRIOLET, FIAT 1500 CABRIOLET, FIAT 1500S CABRIOLET AND THEN THERE WAS THE LIMITED EDITION CALLED THE FIAT 1500 OSCA which looked exactly the same but had a different engine

these as well as the future models were nick named SPYDERS

Well if you ask me i prefer the non metallic powder blue, i think the car just looks better in it.

However since I am a stickler for orginal paint scheme and my car was in metallic blue, I will paint her that

No Amit not my car, just a part of my research on what colours may have been available on these cars. I am not sure if this colour was offered in India. But the car looks smashing in this colour.

Okay as far as colours for 1100 103E goes they were made by "Glasso" and "Glassomax" (later Glasurit) paint chips produced by Fiat/Glasso, however these were for 103E's in Italy. I have no idea what was the manufacturing process here, If colours were imported from Italy?

I have paid someone to do research for me on Paintchips for the 103E, lets see what comes up.

Hi every one,

After the last week’s successful meet. I have one suggestion to make. As we all were together in such a big no. then why don’t we do one more thing for our passion that, why can’t we go together to VCCCI asking for registering all the genuine cars which are vintage or classic or resent classic which ever is applicable.

I saw on that day we all were so passionate for our cars then why don’t we form a group and go there? If we go in one by one way I would prefer a group.

Vintage and Classic Car Club of India - Membership & Privileges

According to this link I think lot of us will get entry. If the club says that entry for fiats is not aloud then we will see that what action we will have to take next.

According to me we should go there.

I am ready for the administration work like collecting the forms from all the members in Mumbai, sending them to VCCCI office which is in Fort, collecting the acknowledgments from VCCCI office, collecting the receipt from VCCCI office etc.

Your comments Mr. Karl or Mr. Cyrus or anyone….

Well, a certain bigwig of the VCCCI is not very happy with our decession to start the FCCCI. And he does not like fiats much...the last time, there were some issues for fiats participating. Lets see what happens in the future.

Rather silly. Classic cars around the world have their own clubs and at the same time they take part in rallies organised for all sorts of vintage and classic cars.

But, he'd rather have cars that are not even close to being classics participate in a rally for vintage and classic cars.

Rjvora and Cyrus it is not the first time this issue has come up with VCCCI. He did have an issue with my brother and friends meeting up for drives to Lonavala in their classics, so this is is a club formed not under VCCCI wing.
The bigwig you talk of Cyrus is not against Fiats joining VCCCI but is against the lacs of fiat owners (Taxi) also joining in. Ronny used to take part in the rally's with his LHD if i remember right. The problem here is no one stood up to the bigwig and put their point across, so it was just taken as random talk. If you guys are series i ask my Father to put the point across. This will be so much better for the deserving cars than haveing modern cars and bikes for the Rallys.

Aditya if i drive a fiat to the rally there would be no issues, but if you drive your car there you would be asked to take your car out and be a spectator. Thats the difference made. Take note of the owners of the modern cars and you shall get your answer.
