Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

I have a 16 year old Fiat Uno does it count for a 'classic car' yet?

Or if not...

Does anyone know a good fiat uno garage/shop where I can mod/fix it up so it will last me another decade & THEN I can hope to count it as a classic?

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

Hi Surya,

Basically, all Fiat 1100s form a part of our FCCCI - Mumbai club.
We also have a few Vintage Fiats, Fiat 500s and 600s participating.

There are dedicated clubs for Palio, Punto and Linea here. Am not sure if there is one for the Uno yet.

I can recommend NIKI GARAGE at Naaz Cinema compound, Lamington Road who may be able to help you out in your venture professionally.

Cheers!

Where are the FCCCI monsoon drive pics? Or they aren't posted here because Fiats were not used for the drive?

Even if no Fiat was present, its the Fiat guys who met and had a blast , so please post some pictures for us to enjoy.

Keeping the inclement weather in mind, I suspect all the older Fiats are warm and cosy in their respective garages just waiting for the rains to end . It should never prevent the owners from having a fun drive in other cars.

Maybe the Mahableshwar gang can take a cue? Lets go somewhere close in modern cars just to meet up , chat and spend the day planning the next drive?
Kasli/ Amol, our ardent planners, listening?

You are right. We did the monsoon drive in our daily use cars, as Fiats are normally in hibernation during monsoon.
But we did have a great time at Toni Daa Dhabha beyond Lonavla besides enjoying the wonderful drive .
