Superb Snaps, lovely cars. Others pls share a few more. I had planned to drop in to check out the fiat stars this time but something came up.

Just one quiestion: How Does MAR 2171 have a white on black number plate? - while being a private vehicle. Is it changed before the event? or are a certain class of classic vehicles allowed this?

I overhead someone mentioning that as 2171 was selected for the Cartier it is now entitled and allowed to put the period black number plate on white letters. All the owner had to do was lodge an application with the RTO.

Really ? Can someone share the format of the letter To be applied at RTO for us all to have that exception on our humble cars ! Thanks

The only condition to it is that your car should have been selected to participate at the Cartier's

Being the proud owner of MAR 2171, I clarify that there is no such application or permission sought for the period number plate profile on my car. I am entirely doing it at my risk with nostalgia. So CARTIER or VINTAGE car owner or not, please take caution.

Thanks for the great pictures, Every year I bring down MTP 8389 for this mega rally but this year i had to make do with my new 500 as I just had absolutely no time to go to Poona and fetch the car. I also intend to work on her a little more this summer.

Unfortunately this year I could not even join the motorcade and lunch because of prior commitments. But it was nice to see some old and new faces. And I am sure all the Fiat'ians had a great time.

Another nice Sunday spent amongst like minded enthusiasts / Fiatians who made it so special for the FCCCI-Mumbai 2013 Mega Rally.

New members Mr. Viveck Goenka - a die hard FIATian, (with his first car from school days, a FIAT - Select in his life - MSW 8313) , Mr. Hemant Kanodia (Scooby on TBHP with his recently acquired outstanding Delight MHI 4484), Mr. Anosh Dhondy and his proud father (owner of the Elegant BML 8684, clocked 9L kms and the amazing work done for engine performance), were inducted into our enthusiastic hobby and passion FCCCI - Mumbai club, a club that is showing results of each and every members talent and passion for FIATS by the day, which is evident year after year from the pics posted on this wonderful thread.
The 5 F's of FCCCI - Mumbai motto also well complied for sure.

At this point we owe a big 'THANK YOU' to Team-BHP for giving us this platform for interaction with our community and binding us into a family.
Also, thanking all the passionate members for the lovely pics posted from their cams. I am now posting a set of pics (may be in 2 parts) from my cam which I hope will not be repetitive.
