Excellent pictures clicked ! Had a very very good time with you'll. Loved the loooong drive, especially the expressway-- where one can see the red alto with DRL's speeding from the leftmost lane (if at all that is called a lane). Lovely whether too. And ofcourse, the food, which was really good. Will surely remember this there in the US.

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

It must have been fun to have great weather, great cars & even greater company but I see few missing from the original list. This one gentleman, with long trail of beautiful feathers, seems to be latest member of FCCCI-Bombay chapter.
Ravi could have hopped in with Rony. Such weather & company would have done great deal of good to his aching back.
Some identity captions would be highly appreciated.

Raab rakha.

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

Hi guys,
Any of you Mumbai Fiatians have pictures of Padmini Economy just for reference? Almost none of such cars in Bangalore.

Need them to make this car more complete.

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

Hi Guys,

Is this meet only for people with classic Fiat cars? I am passionate about the Fiat brand but drive a recent model (2009 -Linea) which I guess won't qualify for your club. Can I participate in your meet? As I said that I don't have a classic Fiat but am looking out for one and have it restored to a good state. I would love to chat up with you experts on how to maintain these cars.

Raj

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

Here is a 56/57 in Pune that I've seen in the same spot my whole life - its never moved but always kept clean. It used to be complete with grille and trims that went missing over the years. Its a lovely sight neatly tucked in an equally cool little bungalow. Pune weather has been kind on the car.

I remember you showing me this car when I'd visited Pune back in 2006!

Also another one, also a dukkar, which you said was in use but bodily always messed up, like one time with paint, another time with a patch of lambi and then primer...?

FCCCI - Mumbai meet/drive Sunday, 9th Sept 2012 to Cafe Mondegar

It was another Sunday with the condusive monsoon weather, and the 5 F's (Fiats, Friends, Food, Fotos, Fun) for the drive from Bandra Sea-Link to Cafe Mondegar - Colaba. Amongst the 5 cars that participated we had Amal Tanna's very cute and pristine Fiat 600 that stole the show and gave us a photogenic presence for our FCCCI Drive archives. Jehangir drove the beauty while Amal was seen enjoying the drive at leisure. Raj Bajwa our new member drove in his spotlessly clean Maroon Linea and was showing keen interest in procuring a Classic FIAT 1100 to be part of the FCCCI - Mumbai gang, a club that has matured with passionate and enthusiastic Fiatians to promote their hobby on FIATS. We picked up Firoze Mehta from his residence at Cusrow Baug, Colaba (Queen of the Parsi Baugs) and he was in his high spirits as usual entertaining the FIATians at the Breakfast table.
While Srinivasan came in his Palio S10 with a free-flow, and his new avatar of a college kid, he was at his best giving serious competition to Cyrus in his mildly modded Alto. And, yours truly did actually enjoy every bit of it rather Truly.
And now, I am posting the few pics that were taken during the drive by me.
