No buddy they are similar but not the same. The rims are different for both types of body styles (sedan and truck). Lets see if PK's find comes with or without the hubcaps

Simple start a new thread on the truck and provide us with fresh new entertainment (and Knowledge ofcourse) and then you can have the hubcaps. Meanwhile I have something that might interest you for your 500C . PM me for details.

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

Recently I saw a Premier Padmini S restored by Sanghi. Basically car is original, some modifications were made to enhance reliability and make it more user friendly and comfortable. I hope that the owner will come for a Fiat club event sometime.
Lots of care and hard work went into this, sourcing parts was an issue. I am sure the result was worth the effort.

Cheers harit

Lovely. Hope these enhancements were available when the Padmini was in its bloom, though some of these were carried out by a few like the insulation of the firewall. Tell me, isn't that a 118NE engine?

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

Lovely stuff! Please share the details.

The firewall insulation is something which is a must for padmini.
Have got cooked many a times during summers due to lack of it.

But having a Black padmini in mumbai can be funny, People will wave at you after dark thinking its a TAXI.

Yeah. I have had that problem. 1144 was Blue and Matt Black with a stripe so people thought it was a Cab. And I have the same problem with my Alto now. Silver with Black bonnet. Its such a royal pain. I feel like smacking them!!

Re: Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai

@rony uncle

although two ignition coils are there but if observed closely only one is connected.

But superb paintjob.
Was any kind of modern rust prevention technique employed in this restoration ?
and why the aftermarket gear knob ?

and if this was an S1 then this should have 4-2 exhaust manifold as opposed to 4-1 which is there in the pic.
the Ac is aftermarket fitment right ?
the Fan could had been hidden properly if the front grill was installed 1-2inch ahead of its original postion.
As done by my friend and bhpian rutwijmamtora on his PP.

Common, you are a fiat lover you could have spotted many differences . Now look at fuse box, and the array of relays on the left in engine bay.

After seeing these pictures my mechanic will now get fresh round of scolding and advice.
