Just got off the phone with Manoj. He would not be joining us with his spyder as he has some prior commitments. I have invited him for our events in the future.

Hi Harit,

Thanks for your good wishes.
Why don't you join us and experience the FIATful drive. It will be real nice to have you with us. We can give you a variety of FIATs to jump in, if you need a ride.

Fiat Millicento - Copper Clad

Here are some photographs of a Fiat Millicento - Clad in Copper . This car in working condition is on display at " O-Palacio " a Portugese Restaurant in Saket, New Delhi. This car was recreated by artist, Yusuf Arakkal.

Cool this car reached Delhi now ! Yusuf Arakkal, is from Bangalore and the car was transformed and made news long time back here. Nice to see better pics of it now.

Am sure FCCCI-Mumbai will have a great Fiatful day.
Best wishes

If they had too worry Harit uncle, it would have been of the 6 cylinder turbocharged offroading capable ML. The Fiats are all used to having her around and neither of my cars set the pace. They are escort cars for the FIATS, so generally last in line incase someone has some trouble. Its a fun filled Fiat event not a speedrun.

You will see the 12 cylinders in action from the 14th of this month.

The drive was a great success, the Kadams were great hosts. We all had a great time. All the cars returned to Mumbai without any incident. We look forward to many more such meets.

The next drive will be to Mahableswar (by popular demand) and overnight stay. Guys lets get some dates and a poll started.

History !

History was made today - the first JOINT meet , ie FCCCI Pune and FCCCI Mumbai, each with an almost equal number of members.

Had a wonderful time, my longest drive in MRX 6839 till date. No major incidents except that she heated up a bit. (I always did say she's a hot chick )

Sameer Kadam and family deserve special mention for hosting the event at their hotel "Kadamb Sahyadri" at Lonavala. Superb breakfast, and superb lunch. We also got a chance to take a sneak peek into (a small part of) Sameer's big and lovely collection of vintage and classic cars.

No pictures from my side. Rony and co, where are you ?

Looking forward to the next meet already !

For starters, A few refuses to wake up, an irritating blockade for a German VVIP that blocked roads for 25 mins, but, Had a great Sunday, met with all Fiatians. The weather was on its brink, so the drive was great. Thanks to the Kadam family for hosting the meet. It was great meeting all, specially Edward, Speedy, Dr. Kanbur, Scooby05, Ravi, Hrishikesh, Amol, Subhash and Mr. Thar, who removed the time to be there, saw an example of optimal performance and constant speed. Also, Mr. Dhondy who made a round trip just for the rally.
Surely Surinder and Adheesh were missed.
Saw the Topolino engine truly, The God of Small things

PS- Thanks to the contribution of Cyrus & Roni aka President

Pics to follow
