Thats a very good project, I have already made a batch of Blue Pavone for my Fiat 1100 but unfortunately it was much darker than what was supposedly offered on cars in India, However the older cars (53-56) did have it.

Fiat Azzuro Aquamarina is ------Glasurit Code--0433

Since these numbers match your Paint Brochure they are indeed Glasurit codes which supplied paint for these years to Fiat. One can directly give these numbers to the Glasurit dealers and have the paint made.

Whats exactly is this ??
We all have been seeing this kind of extruded part (which I have circled) in the picture on almost every Padmini taxi in Mumbai.

I think that bit helps to align the wheel correctly when fitting, so that all the four bolt holes are in line with their respective bolts..
It also helps you to 'hang' the wheel temporarily, while you pick up the bolts / nuts.
Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

That protruding thing is called a spigot. In new generation cars, the drum(or discs) have studs on them and the wheel is first mounted on them and then the nuts are fixed. Fiats have wheel bolts. In Fiats, the wheel is just supported on the spigot (there are 4 spigot holes on the rim, one has to match any one) then all the four bolts can be fixed. If this spigot would not have been present in the design, one would have to align the wheel by one hand and then fix one bolt first and then the others.

Vijay and Adheesh said it all. When the wheel is mounted using bolts then the drum is provided with that pin to temporarily support the wheel. Which also help in aligning of the wheel prior to fastening. In case of newer vehicle the wheel drum/hub come with studs on to which the wheel can be directly supported then fastened using the nuts.
