Gururaj,
There is nothing like enrolling oneself. This is a non-commercial group of Fiat enthusiasts who simply love their cars and want to meet similar people. Just attend the next meet and introduce yourself. You'll feel at home. Keep an eye on this thread and you'll know about the next meet. It's generally held on the first Sunday of every month.

A bit late, blame it on my net connection posted yesterday. its appearing today, jokes apart. Had a great time, good to see all the members specially Subhash and Karl who made it all the way from Pune. Rony and Cyrus Kudos for the start up and thereafter of the show.
Have to change my impression of the slickest shift. I guess it goes to the Elegant now !! the shifter is better than S1. Surinder has now two babies to take care of.
Behram, Varun and others were certainly missed.
In all a once in a year event.

@ Sujith- FCCCI is an informal club with welcome all attitude. It is the only unique club that operates efficiently this way.

FCCCI Rally on 13th Dec '09, Flora Fountain - Mumbai

Yes, it has been another enjoyable and successful event in the history of the FCCCI - Mumbai Chapter.

First of all - I must thank all the FIATians who participated and gave in their BESHT to showcase their cars and personal talents, the passion for which was evident from the great line up of our Classic FIATS at Flora Fountain, Mumbai.

Special thanks to Subhash and Karl for gracing the rally with their presence and encouragement, who came down all the way from Pune.

How can we forget the ever-willing support of non-FIATian escorts Abhishek (Speedy) with his Merc ML, Pilzad with his BMW 320d, Dannybhai (ex-Thane) with his 4X4 superbly modified Gypsy and Mr Hari in his BMW 3-series.

Many of our regular members, including Gogi, Varun, Anil Jain, Immy, Rupesh Vora were missed a lot.
We also missed the Vintage Fiats of Hormusji Cama, Peter Travasso and Harit who couldn't get their cars due to some problems at the last moment.
However, Harit and Marespand Dadachanji, were there in person and we surely enjoyed their company.
We also missed our youngest tuner's (you've guessed right - Yes, it is Adheesh) PADMINI who wasn't able to bring his impeccably restored car, but made it with his Dad in the Team-Bhp stickered Chevy UVA instead which was welcomed in the guise of a Team Support vehicle.

We had some very extraordinarily well maintained and restored FIATS participating and quite a few new members too, one of them whom I know is Mr. Sameer Kadam (Passionate collector of Vintage and Classic Cars) who joined us with his Support vehicle (Toyota Lancruiser) and family. His 1963 Super Select kitted with Export Variant fittings stole the show along with Amols 1957 ELEGANT, both of which were restored by the same garage and had everyones eyes popping "OUT".

Youngsters were seen drooling over the modern Classics, all of which from the Uno, Palio, 500, Linea and Punto were present. Unbelievable participation co-incidently, but very welcomed.

One of our Team-Bhpian "Gautomobile" (hope, I've spelt it right?) self introduced himself at the Rally with his family for the first time and came in his spanking new Diesel Punto. We were touched with his great initiative and passionate association!

Kaizad (Fiaturbo) and Nekzad - his brother, with racing blood had come in their professionally modified Delite - and a true "Delight for the eyes" which has previously taken part in the Mumbai Speed Runs and is known for putting modern cars with much bigger engines to shame. We truly appreciate their presence and wish them all the very BESHT for the future Drag events.

Last but not the least...... special thanks to Cyrus' mother for the yummy sandwiches which I'm sure that everyone has enjoyed.

My son Rohan has clicked 217 pictures, but I shall try and post as many as I can in another post later on.

Hoping that we have many more of these events and may the FCCCI fraternity grow.

Best Regards,
Rony Vesuna

Dear Rony and all - I missed the event but just to fill you in, I was in Rome Italy. I returned today morning. I have taken pictures of only one FIAT1100 (the Italians pronounce it as "MILLE CHEN TOH") which I saw there (obviously left hand drive). I cannot post pictures as the camera memory is high, so Cyrus will do something to post them. The car was white in colour and looked very decent. It seems to be in everyday use in Rome. I also saw many old Fiat 500s (CHIN QUE CHEN TOH) in regular use. One of them belongs to the person I had gone to meet. I also met an Italian gentleman who has 10 old Fiats.

Sadly, I did not see even one Ferrari during my 4 days' stay there!

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Maybe not but you did get to see the heart of a Ferrari in the car you saw, if you know what I mean!

Brilliant Pictures. Was completely floored by that cream and Pearl Gold Colored car that KAdam brought along. She is stunning.
