As told by Karl in other thread, all Fiat 1100 cars are Millecento(it simply means eleven hundred).

One new member of our club says that his Millecento is 1953 model. Buy I have never seen a '53 model before. I thought they came to India in '54.

As per the Premier Automobile website

PREMIER LTD. - History

The Fiat 1100 was introduced in 1954 (which was introduced in 1953 in Italy)

He may mean in '53 model as in the model that was introduced in '53, not specifically his car. And technically it is a '53 model.

I meant, the owner claims that the car was registered in Bangalore in 1953. The number is MYV 970.

A simple way to tell is to see the RC book, and note down the date of registration (assuming it is the first original registration).

Do share some pictures of this car, we would like to see.

The programme would be like last year.
The Flora Fountain parking lot is our best bet because of its sheer size. We gather there, take pictures, and head out for a round of marine drive (Boy, what a convoy we'll make !!).
Finally we move on for some yum yum brunch .
Time - 09.30 am okay ?
The earlier the better, as winter does not seem to be in any mood to set in..
Start the list guys.

Some time back Forbes magazine had carried an article on vintage car collectors, the online edition features these 2 great photos of Rony and Ravi with their babies.
