But that is not MY choice. It's Dhabhar senior's choice. I still want 3112 to get grey wheels with white walls, or atleast cream wheels, but no!!.......We might soon be doing a car in the Black car cream wheels combination though. Wait and watch...

So after the whole "Evil Twins" saga, may the dukkar duo be named, "The Holy Twins".
The former being highly modified avataars as opposed to the WIP wala dukkar duo restoration!!

Mumbai Fiat'ians,

Arun1100 surely has plans of making it Mumbai for the rally. I am trying my best (to get leaves) to make it up too. Lets see how it goes.

Apart from this, myself and Arun has plans to visit Mumbai to try and procure some new parts as well as parts from scrap yard (for us as well as any of our fellow members on a best effort basis) with help of you guys.

We dont yet have a list of parts, just this thought on our minds. Lets see if we can make it a combo trip of attending the rally + procuring parts.

To start off with, can you guys tell us (what ever you know of) of parts that are available new in Mumbai and may not be available else where?

Also, are any of the following Fiat parts available new in Mumbai:
Head
Carburator
Pistons

Personally, I would like to know if the above are available for 118 NE petrol as well. By any chance is there a 118 NE fan club in Mumbai?

You can use a Mikuni in the 118. A Mikuni from the Esteem should do just fine.

Also, I doubt you will get a new head or a brand new carb. you might get pistons though. But Dad will be the est person to ask on where to get these parts. Do PM him.

Yeah right. We are either flying to Mumbai or by train. We surely will come to Mumbai some time in our Fiats

We need to really gear up plans of Bangalore-Mumbai meet for February. How about making it GOA?? It will be a nice combo. Rally + good sight seeing

Karnataka 1000

I was in a mad hunt to find old Fiat pics of rallies. Here is a nostalgic rally thread (yesteryear rallys where Fiats and Amby’s dominated). I really loved it a lot. Full credit to my present Rally friend Raghuram (a well know Karnataka 1000 Esteem driver), also a TBHPian (raghuram.cg), who in an instant got me acquainted with this thread. I personally suggest you to sit back, relax and real this thread. No point reading it in a hurry.
