In retrospect I'm glad I didn't buy it. Quite a rust bucket, no ? The 1500 looks yummy, though !
At one point of time (about 2 years ago) I was in love with this 1500 and was seriously interested in buying it, but was never able to make contact with the owner, who one fine day just sold off both the cars, and they both disappeared from their resting location.

I always thought the Fiat 1500 was a very intresting car. Wanna be american with the eyebrow double headlights in the front. Are there any other 1500's in India?

Okay 6th is around the corner are we doing anything? Its unlikely that cars will come out as there are some occasional stray showers. However we can meet to discuss future activities like weekend drives etc post monsoon.

Any suggestions on location?

Yes. We have decided on the parking lot outside Regal Cinema and then Brunch at Mondegars. That way, there is enough parking and also brilliant food which is not very expensive... Cheese Omelet Zindabad!!

Just keeping you guys updated. The FCCCI Bombay will be meeting up at 11AM at the parking lot opposite Regal cinema. And of course, Brunch thereafter at Mondegars.

Please do post your confirmations.

Thank You.

Dear Ravi- used to see these cars for ages. Was not a fiat fanatic then. Used to go for tuitions in model house. Used to feel the fiat was a datsun or some 70s toyota. it had a perfectly flat tyres and covered with dust and leaves.
There was also a pristine light blue SS80 DX (which is so talked about on t-bhp) MAS 9009, that belonged to Mr. Samant who also happens to be my kakas friend. Have no contact with him now

PS- Tutor who used to teach me was Nadkarni.

Guys are we having the meet at all ?
And since it's just us Dadar-Mahim wallahs, may we save the trouble of driving all the way to Regal (I do that every day, for God's sake !), and meet at good ol' Parsi colony ? The cheese omlettes can come from Koolar's - provided they have some stuff for this hapless vegetarian .
