Dear Karl - that is MRX7134 owned by Mr.Jeejeebhoy. That's him driving. He has MMU770 also. You can include in your database.

By the way, see these pictures. The car is MTC7363. Owner "was" Pradeep Mhaskar of Nasik. I met Pradeep in Nasik. I remember to have have scrutineered this car during many MASA rallies. He has sold it though. Sad. By the way, Mr.Percy Ghyara had MTC7268. The numbers are so near yet the cars are so far from us.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Behram, the car is not 7134 it is 7741. When (and why!) did he graft on the later front end?

I wonder if uncle Percy's car survives. Last saw it around 3-4 years back, nothing like it used to be. What a pity.

Keep you eyes out for MTC 921 Natina blue Premier President? Made many appearences in the Dharmeder-Sharmila Tagore starrer 'Chupke Chupke'.

Dear Karl - I stand corrected on the number. I know him so I asked him on the changed front end. I did not get any definitive reply. I'll ask him again. There was a black MRF registered car also having the same configuration. I used to see it in PAL. It was well maintained and had the AC also. The wheel rims were also black.

Geez!! What kind of a mod job is this?!

How on earth did they manage to do such a grafting job like this?! And I thought you'd find hybrid cars only in Cuba!
BTW, the front grille is from a '65 fiat!

They could've been removed later also. Ravi (superselect's) superselect too had that done until he got them replaced.

Interesting! Harit, are you looking for any Jeep/Mahindra FC, or this particular one for some reason? Just asking.

Cheers,

P

@ harit, if you are looking for mahindra FCs, you will find them a lot at junkyards, or may be old police vans will serve the purpose as FCs were patent police vehicles in the late 80s.
