Guess that sufficiently explains your query.
Yes, yes I very well understood.

Even I FCCCI all my Fiat cars

So next time i meet a person with a Fiat my first question to him/her will be.. "Do you FCCCI your Fiat?"

I doubt it- all cars "MADE IN INDIA" had LUCAS headlamps, initially "MADE IN ENGLAND" later on marked just "FOREIGN GLASS"

Some others had even LUMAX.

AFAIK, yes, some later PADMINIS came with OE Sunax Tail light lenses.
I also remember picking up a few sets from the market about a year ago.

Are they more reflective than sweet trade and have a ribbed surface design on the inner side as opposed to plain inner of sweet trade ?

If yes I had them and they are better than sweet trade. Although people may dissagree to it.

We have to look see.
Surely, there could be some NOS lying in some shop somewhere.

As you know, FIAT/PADMINI stuff is no longer easily available off the shelf anymore.

You are right. The ones available now from "UNION" is far better than the original ones. Does not fade away soon too.

Translated as "Buddy you have a problem?"

Translated literally it would mean "Wot man, you have a lot of insect/finger/itch?"

Now Keeda can be replaced with words mentioned above i.e. Ungli (finger), Khujli (itch) and the meaning remains the same.

Was Lumax also an OEM supplier (ever) ?

I remember having picked up Lumax lenses for the tail lights and front parking lights that were simply the best quality that I've ever seen.

President spotted this interesting car last month.

Fiat Classic Car Club - Mumbai-001.jpg

It appears to be a 62(ish) Super Select (MRX registered), but the front end (after the windscreen) is from a Delight/Padmini. We've never seen a model like this before, so we assume it is a local alteration to 'upgrade' the car at some point. Note the 'spear' across the doors does not fuse into the mudguard like original cars do. Thought it would be interesting to share.
