White wall paint. Hey even i am interested to get one for my Padmini, these white coloured tyres gives the car a vintage appeal and adds glory to the vehicle. Please advice me where can it be acquired in Hyderabad. Thanks

Just got some info from Salil Pawar. Remember that Blue Super Select that Ravi put on the foru a few weeks ago?? It seems that the car has been abandoned for a while now and that it hasnt moved for around 3 months. Salil thinks it might be stolen.......

abandoned at Shivaji Park? Or stashed away for a later date, But why would someone want to steal a Superselect?

I thought that the car was kept by the owner for a restoration in the immediate future. However, when I asked a few people who stay in the building just opposite to the car, they said that they've seen nobody with that car for the last two months or so. Plus the rear window is lying open for a long time now and completely exposed to the elements.

Although I can't comment whether the car is stolen or not but the residents were saying that such instances of stolen cars being parked there have happened before. So, that possiblity can't be ruled out.

In India, anything gets stolen. So, why not a Fiat? I hope you recall the Fiat stolen in Pune which was recovered thanks to Karl and t-bhp.

Well i hope it will be restored soon, I stay two lanes away from the car. And in my experience cars always get stolen from Shivaji Park never abandoned there.

Well my Standard 10 has been stolen around 10 years back, my 72 Fiat was stolen last year, my 55 Millecento 'Dalda 13' was stolen in the past too - all cases the car was recovered a few days later some distance away. Usually they are stolen only for petty scrap value of the radiator, dynamo, battery, jack, spare wheel etc. It is not uncommon, especially since they are easy to steal. I recovered my 72 Fiat (which wasn't mine back then but a friend's) only thanks to BHPian veldeep. My Standard 10 was spotted by a neighbour at the other end of town. 'Dalda 13' was found one morning outside the gate of the Delhi Police commissioners residence!

Its just a theory that the car was stolen and dumped there, but it is a plausible one at that.

There were a bunch of cars stolen from Shivaji Park a couple of weeks / months ago. Seems the thieves used this Fiat to carry equipment to steal those cars.

By now don't you know the other meaning of FCCCI?

"FIAT Cars Continuosly Cared Intensively"?

Guess that sufficiently explains your query.
