Cyrus- yes its an aftermarket grille (the PAL badge says it all) made for selects/super-selects....I personally dont find them too attractive!

Karl, here you go bro....the other beetle I saw inside the same garage outside which the yellow one was lying.....the latter I'm told was used as a parts car for restoring this car:

True, that is what inspired this design. It was popular around that time as well.

Well I need 3 wheel rims, (assuming they are in usable condition), "towel rail" bumpers, door handles (if they are pull type). I dont suppose theres much else I can salvage for my model. Perhaps the quarter window would come in handy.

It doesnt seem to have any of the parts you mention apart from the quarter glass.....
What bout the steering wheel, gearstick and one of the switches on the dash (seems original)....?

Its quite likely that the bumpers and things were removed and the car is partly dismantled. I would mind taking the above mentioned items as spares, if they are reasonably priced. What I need are the wheel rims. Im currently running 16s at the rear and 15s up front...looks awesome though!
