Vehicle factory, Jabalpur (VFJ) was asked to offer it's Jonga MUV and Shaktiman trucks for sale to the public to earn more resources. Unfortunately, these were outdated designs of the early 1960's and received a very lukewarm response from the public ,after such advertisements surfaced.  |

| Distinguished - BHPian | Re: Post-War Military Vehicles in India Some more from the post-war era. The first picture is of then General S.H.F.J. Manekshaw, COAS, later Field Marshal, when he was is active service from Sainik Samachar of April 12, 1970. There are no automobiles here but the image of the page is being shared as it shows Field Marshal Manekshaw in active service in uniform.   General O.P. Malhotra, then COAS on an inspection visit to the Artillery Centre, Deolali near Nashik.
