Barn or Garage Finds in India Barn and Garage Finds has always been of much interest across the world and there is a huge following, as historic vehicles are unearthed.
Wiki defines Barn Finds as below Quote:
A barn find is a classic car, aircraft or motorcycle that has been rediscovered after being stored, often in derelict condition. The term comes from their tendency to be found in places such as barns, sheds, carports and outbuildings where they have been stored for many years. The term usually applies to vehicles that are rare and valuable, and which are consequently of great interest to collectors and enthusiasts despite their poor condition. Source |
We would include Garage Finds too, but with the caveat being that, these cars be - Unrestored and original cars, which have great interest and value to collectors
- Of value, as derived from the Marque, Body Style, Provenance, Production figures, rarity in India etc.
- Not in use and must have been garaged for many years
- Restored many years back, but the car is complete
- In long term ownership at the time of the find
We will restrict this thread only for Barn/Garage finds in India. Please note that cars in storage, awaiting restoration as part of a large collection or a restorer's stash will not be considered.
