Retrieved an old picture of BYJ 2901 with bumpers donning the original paint I suppose. this is from the 1980's , 1988 to be precise.

@ Sudhir,
Nice & very beautifully restored Austins you have.
One question, as you reside in Thane; why don't you participate in HVOCT (Heritage Vehicle Owner's Club Of Thane) events that takes place every year on 1st May (Maharashtra Day) & 15th August (Independence Day) ??
Regarding the membership of HVOCT, you can contact TBHPian egangsta (Edward Roudrigues).

Thanks Hrishikesh,

I would like to do so. Actually these vehicles are at Nashik, my native. But certainly, I would participate in one of the events.

1936 Plymouth Sedan 6 Cylinder
This is a beautifully restored by a good friend of mine in Delhi. Any history of the car before the car landed up in Delhi. Only thing that is missing is the front hood ornament and the rear badge. Incase anyone has it please let me know so that we can complete this car.

Here are a few pics -

Are you sure that this is a SS? Because it has 4 doors and is not pillarless. I feel that it is a normal Impala/Biscayne and has been rebadged.

I saw this same car parked outside the workshop in Sujan Singh Park today.
It is not a SS version as it has straight six engine. The owner of this vehicle told me it was restored recently and was Impala of 1969 vintage due to its three rear tail light configuration which distinguishes it from Biscayne/150 variants

These cars were on display during this year's Dasara celebrations in the Mysore palace.

The first one is a Daimler Straight 8 DE 36 and the second one is a 1931 Chevrolet Tourer.

Both belong to Manjusha Museum, Dharmasthala. The Daimler is an Ex-Mysore car.

Nice one, I had seen a similar car in same colour (nearly as original) here just before it was scrapped in 2007.

I wish the Amby had adopted this shape in the 60s, it was originally a M.oxford too anyways!

Incidentally, is this in Pune? And the photos look like 'period' ones too!
