That is an interesting picture. Not that the car is a 28 / 29 model but the wheels are from the later 30 /31 Fords or some other car

Hi Wasif!

You see, 28/29 Ford A's had 21" rims. When the tyres for this size became unavailable, people started fitting 19" rims from the 30/31 cars as 19" ADV tyres were and still are available. I have a 29 Ford A for which I managed to source 4 - 21" rims, just cannot find one more for my stepney!

True Harit.

I think if you have someone check with old part people in Hyderabad you will find the elusive fifth rim !!!

Yes the bumper needs to be done. But I am using the car for my morning walks. Will post better pictures as soon as the bumpers are done up.

Wow never imagined the Andamans would have such a vintage, for that matter always wondered what lies in the Andamans! Something mysterious about it. Karl is she an orignal reg or shipped over in recent decades?

She is pretty intact too what else they got out there mate?

Hi ,

First Post

Saw this MG a few months back in a South Delhi Colony, car seemed to be well cared for till some time ago. The interior was totally changed and has Mahindra dials.

Do try and post some more pics of this car, its interior and the engine if possible.

Is it a fixed head or is that a removable hard top on it ? Is it on wire spoked wheels ?

love these B's and would love to hear more on this car.

It is almost definitely a removable hardtop or 'wintertop'. The fixed head cars were fast backs, a lovely example in British Racing Green had come to Pune from Bombay, and then further sold on.

Pune still retains this beautiful MGB carbio, which I have also seen with winter top fitted.

Hi,

Wasif - The car does have wire wheels , The green color was an over spray , could see traces of Red from where the overcoat had peeled off.

I do not have any pics of the interiors , but they were totally modified , with Mahindra dials/ Sony Stereo in a new console box

Karlos - Agree with you the car does have the "winter top" the owners friend mentioned that the top could be removed.

Regards

Salman
