Spotted today morning..

Ashwin Yearbati was a vintage car collector based in Hyderabad, owning about 25 cars. Cars included a 1928 Ford Pick Up, 1930 Ford Station Wagon, 1938 Oldsmobile, 1948 Packard Clipper

Among them were the Ford Model A 1930 Station Wagon and the Ford Model A 1928 Pickup car, which were a pair bought by Ashwin Yerabati, a vintage car collector from the city. The former, has a complete wooden frame, while the latter was used to ferry animals of royal families of Uttar Pradesh once upon a time. “I bought them both at the same time about 20 years ago. The Station Wagon cost me between Rs.18 to 20 lakh for restoration, while the Pickup took about Rs.10 lakh for the same. They were in use for 14 or 15 years by the royal families, and in fact, the Pickup was also used as an ambulance after partition,” said Mr. Yerabati.

Suspect these cars are from another prominent Delhi Collection. Cars look familiar and all a recent purchase of the last three to four years ago. So the claim of the cars being bought 20 odd years ago is false . One was seen at the last Cartier in Mumbai at the Shikaar Class.

Neat looking, hope the owner manages to get a local registration plate soon.

This is not a recent import Bulldogji. I have seen this car in a garage/godown in Greams Road, Chennai several years back. So definitely not CARNET. It had the same plates then too. The car itself was MINT!

Sir dont know what TD means.
But know this car belongs to a big builder group in Chennai.
Dealers tell that the car has come in Carnet that is why it has UK number plate
Think they bring it every year to India from there and take it back again.
