You TBHPians are awesome. I always wonder how you guys get to spot these cars. Lately I have to started looking every shop that looks a car repair garage, to see if can spot one of these classics, without luck so far :-(.

Is there a 70s beetle available for sale?

karl isnt this the one that used to come for the pune rally also. the number looks familiar. the car looks to be in good condition but i wonder why the plates have not been changed. i am sure the owner must be useing her too. nice find i must say.

there used to be a black morris minor that used to come for the rally cant place if it is the same car. it would generally stand outside blue diamond somewhere close to the petrol pump.

nice work Gordon. the Vanguard looks like it needs work. the desoto looks like it has just been restored. i wonder why it does not have a number plate ?

It didnt have a number plate here as well.

The Phase 3 Vanguard is one of just a handfull left, a real rarity in India today.

Looking at the no.I think I saw the same Vanguard in an ad in Auto India a few years ago....it sure seems to have deteriorated a bit since!

oh yeah it is the same car that was there at the coll exhibition too. i wonder how the owner uses it with no number plates. suprising even the cops have not said anything yet.

Oh yes. See them in this brochure scan from 64.

and almost the same as the ones on the ponton i think these dint have parking light indicators...would the owner be intrested in parting it to a mercedes enthusiast...just wishful thinking
