Cannot seem to find much info. Above is another picture from 1955. It was supposedly an amphibian.

1936 DKW, Twin Cylinder, Two Stroke, Water Cooled. This is one of the few vintage cars in this stable at Bangalore

Spotted this black Morris Minor (fourth from right) at a roadside workshop in Kolkata a few days ago, while on the move. The workshop is located on the EM Bypass - New City (Rajarhat) right turn.

That is my MAF 350. :D

Correction : It is a W110. NOT a 111. The 111 was an S Class equivalent; whereas the W110 was the C/E Class equivalent of the early Sixties.

Infact; that car in question is the very first Heckflosse I ever saw- at the age of seven. This is my favorite 'Flosse to date actually - One day I'll make the garage guy an offer he cannot refuse. The car is also the inspiration for my username. :)

MAF 350 has always been standing at that garage. The car appears to have moved ahead by a few meters.

Last saw her in Jan 2014.

I know the Super Select as well. The garage guy's name is Abrol - And last I checked; the place had the bodyshell of a W124; a W123 240D; a Land Rover 110 (Registration - (Pune) -MHH 888x) ; and also a FIAT 1100D lying there.

Just to confirm; this garage is off FC Road; right?

Yes off FC Road. Thanks for the correction, W110 it is ! :thumbs up

While on my way today witnessed this Model A after a minor crash with a biker(maybe) at 6:45 in the morning at Lakskmi mandir tiraha, Jaipur. Traffic lights are non operative at that time. Was getting late so didn't stop for details.

A Standard Pennant and an old Jeep ( not sure if its a real GPW/ MB ) spotted at Mysore.

Found her in Gaiwadi(Cow shed) - Charni Road yday.
Though dusty, she is a daily drive and from the looks of it, well kept.

Last week, I had visited a local garage here in Mysore after coming to know that it housed a Pennant. The mechanic there, having noticed my interest in old cars, told me about a certain garage he had visited in Nanjangud that had a few old cars lying around.

Well, I didn't need telling twice, did I? ;)

Saw this well kept Chevy in a garage when on a holiday in the nilgiris.

The vertical center piece would indicate this as a 1948 Stylemaster Chevrolet. No horizontal chrome strips on front and back fenders. The most frugal of the 1948 lineup.

Did the Stylemaster ever come to India? Maybe it is a taxi version, which was basically a fully stripped Fleetmaster.
